Ford serves as Chief Architect for a leading, Fortune 100 software-as-a-service provider where he has held responsibility for the design and development of products used every day by business and human resources leaders and generate more than $100 million in revenue annually.
Jeffrey J. Misner
Jeffrey J. Misner joined the advisory board of OrcaEyes, Inc. in February, 2011. Mr. Misner (Jeff) currently serves on the Board of Directors for Vonage, a leading provider of telecommunication services. Jeff serves on the Audit Committee and Chairs the Nomination and Governance committee. He joined the Vonage Board in March 2008. Mr. Misner served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Continental Airlines, Inc. from August 2004 until his retirement in August 2008. Mr. Misner joined Continental Airlines, Inc. in 1995 and previously served in various capacities, most recently as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Jeff spent several years in public accounting and was a tax partner with Ernst and Whinney. Jeff is a veteran having proudly served in the Marine Corps.
Paul Davies joined the OrcaEyes Advisory Board in 2009 with a focus on advising the company in areas of strategy and business development, product commercialization and distribution. He has held CFO positions in both privately held and publicly traded companies and brings an extensive understanding and experience of this role to OrcaEyes. He brings more than 20 years of experience as an investment banker and officer in the financial sector with personal involvement in over $20 billion worth of transactions. As a Director and member of the Deutsche Bank Australia Credit Committee, he has performed extensive work in project evaluation and developed a rich understanding of risk.
As a consultant Paul has worked with companies based in Australia, US, Canada, China, Malaysia, UK and Dubai giving him a broad base of international business experience. Industries covered by his activities include finance, IT, web services, consumer goods, telecom, technology, biotech and information services to name a few. In addition he has held board positions on both publicly and privately held companies. He has significant experience in business strategy, risk management, business development, corporate finance and asset disposal and acquisition.
Davies holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Monash University in Australia, has qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CPA equivalent) and is an alumnus of the Stanford Business School.
Jim Boeckman is a business lawyer in solo practice in Austin, Texas.
Beginning in 2002, Boeckman was Executive Vice President and General Counsel of DuPont Photomasks, Inc., a public company (traded on the NASDAQ as DPMI) with approximately $375 million in annual revenues and manufacturing operations in seven countries. Boeckman led the company's legal team, and advised senior management on a wide variety of legal and strategic issues, including general business, joint ventures, securities, litigation, employment, privacy, compliance, and licensing, intellectual property, environmental, contracting and related matters.
In 2004-2005, Boeckman led the legal team in negotiations with Toppan Printing Co., Ltd., a $14 billion printing company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, for the acquisition of DPMI. After the $650 million transaction closed in 2005, the company was renamed Toppan Photomasks, Inc. Boeckman continued as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Toppan Photomasks through 2008, when he left the company to begin his solo practice.
Prior to joining Toppan Photomasks, Boeckman was a partner at Vinson & Elkins LLP from 1997 to 2002, in the Austin office. His practice focused on general corporate matters, with an emphasis on technology-related projects and companies.
Previously Boeckman spent more than seven years as in-house counsel at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in increasingly senior positions from 1990 through 1997, including serving for several years as Senior Regional Counsel for Asia-Pacific, based in Melbourne, Australia. Prior to joining EDS, he was an associate in the corporate section at Locke Purnell Rain Harrell in Dallas, Texas.
Neil McCormick has a broad history of international management experience spanning 30 years. He has held board positions and leadership roles as CEO, Executive Director and Project Director in both domestic and international markets covering areas such as consulting, research, product and business development, technology & infrastructure and sales & marketing.
Neil has worked in human resources and consulting services for the past 16 years building a repertoire covering human resource management, recruitment consulting, management consulting, talent management, general management and learning and development.
